CHRIS WAS AN ALTAR SERVER at St Michael’s before he left to work in the hotel industry in New York. Universally thought of as a thoroughly lovely guy he’ll be staying in New York, too, because he’s just married Diana who was raised there and they both love the city. This weekend Chris has brought Diana and her mother to Bramhall and I’ll have the joy of blessing their Marriage in company with UK based family and friends on Sunday. They were enjoying the cool air of a British summer when I met with them this morning. I, on the other hand, have developed a real hankering for sight of the Manhattan Skyline at night and a New York hot dog. Maybe they’d like an anniversary blessing, Manhattan Beach, perhaps, next year?
