Le Cimitiere de Bateaux
Ces bateaux servaient autrefois a la “petite” pêche et a l’ostreiculture. Ces activites ayant presque completement disparues sur la riviere du Sal, aujourd’hui ces coques de bois se decomposent au rythme des saisonas et des marees. Il est important de ne pas les detruire car ils representent notre patrimoine maritime. Elodie Le B.

The Boat Cemetery
These boats were formerly used by a small local oyster fishing industry. These activities have all but disappeared on the river Sal. Today the wooden hulls are broken down by the seasons and the tides. It is important not to destroy them because they represent our maritime heritage. Elodie Le B.
