PRAYERFULNESS

THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT the prayerful stillness of our midweek Eucharist that touches me afresh again and again. Real connections are made between all present and the world about us too. There’s a place in my heart for the bigger occasions, of course, but I’m becoming ever more convinced that there’s both need and place for quietness, contemplation and silence in our coming before the Divine.

In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.

Isaiah 30:15
